Another busy year to get the “Last HEMI” completely restored and ready for it’s first showing & unveiling at MCACN. It was a tight squeeze being barely a full 9 months, but we did it! The Charger won Concours Gold (99% out of 1000 points) and the Wellborn Musclecar Museum Award!
This years main attraction was the display of 1970 & 1971 HEMI E-body convertibles. What a sight to see. Only 42 of these exist and the MCACN show was able to get over half of them under one roof! It was great to see two cars in those rows we were lucky enough to get to document and restore at Aloha about 10 years ago – the 1971 Red Hemi Cuda convertible & the 1971 Purple Hemi Challenger.
Also present this year at the show was the 1970 440 Cuda convertible we restored for Tim & Pam Wellborn in 2008, which after 7 years still looks amazing!
