Well it’s over! After a lot of preparations for our first year as an Official Event Sponsor of the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals, we can relax. Setup for the event started early Thursday morning and moved on through Friday night.
Our display featured multiple award winning 1970 Hemi Superbird, a 1971 Hemi Cuda Tribute that’s currently in progress, and a hot off the presses 1971 440+6 GTX! The freshly restored, first time on display GTX was definitely a show stopper! It’s Lemon Twist color really sparkled under the lights and grabbed a lot of attention. Sadly at the end of the show, it hopped onto a trailer headed towards its home at the Wellborn Muscle Car Museum in Alabama.
The show opened at 9AM Saturday, and while it was opening day for hunting season, the crowds flooded in! We spent the weekend talking to a lot of great people, awarded a 69 Camaro Z28 with the Apex pick award and socialized with some of our great clients! If you’ve never checked out this show, we highly recommend it. MCACN does a wonderful job of selecting interesting and rare invitational displays and has a very wide selection of makes and models. Now it’s time for us to put our display items away and get back to work! See you next year Rosemont!
